Social Research explores the role of the natural environment in the ecosystem of communities asking questions such as:

• what are the similarities and differences in what the natural environment means to particular communities and how they want to engage with it,

• do different communities have equitable access to the natural environment, and

• how do communities express their voice in the management of the natural environment.
